Your natural reactions guide you as you edit. All of this helps you see your own writing in a new way, so you can edit with more confidence and clarity.

Leigh Shulman is an author and writing coach with over two decades of experience working with best-selling authors, essayists, and freelancers helping them build writing businesses they love.
Her personal writing and personal essays have been published in The Washington Post, WIRED, Guernica, and Longreads among others.
